What is the ideal number to keep together?

It is recommended to keep in groups of 5 or more.

What water conditions do they require?

A pH range of 6.0 - 7.4 and a temperature of 24-28 degrees Celsius.

What should you feed them?

An Omnivorous species, will happily feed on algae, sinking pellets and frozen foods.

How compatible are they with other fish?

Extreme caution should be advised as they are often seen as food items. Micro rasbora and Rainbow species such as Threadfin are best used.

Can they be bred in captivity?

Possible and will regularly spawn, once mature. This species of shrimp does not breed with Cardinia so is an ideal second shrimp choice. Young are also spawned fully formed so they do not have a larval stage.

Pallet delivery is to the kerbside (at least 2 people will be needed to off-load depending on item size.)

The couriers WILL NOT be able to assist you with moving the aquarium/terrarium or chiller onto the premises. This is due to insurance purposes.

Express next day service orders must be placed before 1pm to ensure they are dispatched that day.

Deliveries will take place between 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. Delivery outside of these hours may be subject to an additional fee and local depot availability.
