How easy are they to care for?

A generally very hardy species, that will accept a range of tank mates.

How large can they grow?

5.5cm.

Where in the world are they from?

Amazon basin in Colombia, Peru and Brazil, as well as various coastal river systems in Suriname.

What is the ideal number to keep together?

A shoaling Corydoras species and should be kept in small groups; minimum of 6.

What water conditions do they require?

Will happily live in a wide range of water conditions. However most specimens will be happiest between 22 - 26°C with pH range of 5.8 - 7.2.

What should you feed them?

Use a good quality sinking pellet as the main staple in their diet. It is also a good idea to include live and frozen foods such as Daphnia, Artemia and bloodworm with this.

How compatible are they with other fish?

Largely compatible with all community tank species. Do not keep with anything very large or aggressive.
