Found throughout Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam
What is the ideal number to keep together?
Should be kept in groups to allow them to form their social heirarchies
What water conditions do they require?
Will happily live in a wide range of water conditions. However most specimens will be happiest between 21 - 25 degrees C with pH range of 6.0 - 7.5. Should not be introduced to immature aquaria.
What should you feed them?
Will feed on and foods that sink to the bottom of the aquarium but should be subsidised with sinking pellets.
How compatible are they with other fish?
Caution - Can become aggressive with size, keep in groups to allow social standings and reduce shyness.
