| New Column Aquarium Fish Tank Images 10/02/2010 These wonderful fish tank aquarium images have been sent in to us by Lisa Burton and Paul Cumberland respectively. Lisa has done a terrfic job in housing her half moon shape column fish tank within a snug alcove in her living room. She keeps a variety of tropical fish in her tank including 2 beautiful hard-water bred discus called quite aptly I think Mary-Kate and Ashley! You can see more of Lisa's aquarium tank images in our fish tank images section Pauls 128cm length stainless steel wall aquarium is we feel the perfect set up for one of these style wall mounted tanks. He has few fish - mostly tetras but has decorated the tank brilliantly to give it a real framed artwork style. The tank fits his living area very nicely and we can imagine relaxing with this tank aside us on the wall. Recently we introduced a new style of wall aquarium to our wall mounted aquarium range that has upgraded design features as well as a stylish gloss black acrylic front and sides with stainless steel borders.
Our wall mounted fish tanks are available in 98cm, 128cm, 158cm and 208cm lengths to fit most size living areas comfortably. Each fish tank comes complete with T8 lighting and built in filtration offering a complete luxury aquarium fish tank that will be the perfect wow feature for family and friends.
Sometimes reffered to as picture frame aquariums, we recommend that these types of wall tanks are used for tropical fish and ideally for best results use a large number of small fish as they will swim in shoals to create extremely stunning visual displays.

These fish tanks are available in the following lengths; 1000mm, 1200mm and 1500mm in a standard height model as well as a special height added model which gives you more volume of water for the same length of fish tank and of course a larger viewing are for admiring your fish.
We are giving customers four options to choose from when purchasing these tanks;  Option 1; 'Vanilla' - Just fish tank aquarium and cabinet included.
Option 2; Internal filtration with two tube T5 aquarium lighting.
Option 3; External filtration with two tube T5 aquarium lighting.
Option 4; External filtration with four tube T5 aquarium lighting. |  |  | | New Column Aquarium Fish Tank Images 07/12/09 We would like to share with you some fantastic new photographs of a column aquarium tank sent in to us by Lawrence Casey. Lawrence has done a brilliant job in styling the look of his tank, Lawrence says "the background stone-effect structure was fashioned out of 1" thick sheets of polystyrene stacked together using aquarium safe silicone and carved to mimic stone-like shapes. They was then coated with 4 cement washes, sprayed with stone effect paint and sealed with three coats of epoxy resin. These were then affixed to the back of the aquarium with aquarium safe silicone.
The back of the aquarium was fitted with a back-scene film of bogwood - in parts, and sprayed with black acrylic paint in other parts to give it depth and to allow the correct placement of back-scene bogwood between ‘rocks’." His choice of plants include java fern, java moss, Amazonian swords as well as a few other species and he has stocked his tank with the following; 3 Peppered Corydoras, 6 Algae eating Amano shrimp, 3 zebra loaches 3 khuli loaches, 10 Rasbora heteromorpha, 1 Mooonlight gourami, 2 rainbow bosemani, 1 Siamese fighting fish (Betta) and 1 angel fish. Once again thanks to Lawrence for sending in this great example of a well cared for column tank aquarium and also of his thriving tropical fish. |

T5 Lighting additional feature - New two Plug Option
Since we launched our range of T5 aquarium fish tank lighting it quickly became obvious to us that one of the main features customers were looking for in a complete T5 lighting unit was two power cables, enabling them to set their different coloured bulbs to turn on independently by timers as and when they wanted.
